Who It Serves

Who virtual IOP is for

Adults in Texas who need more than weekly therapy but cannot come to the Heights several days a week: people outside Houston, parents, travelers for work and people stepping down from residential care.

See the areas we serve in person, or read more about telehealth and virtual outpatient therapy.

What Is Included

What is included

The same clinical team, the same standards, on screen.

  • Evening IOP groups online, Tuesday through Thursday, 5:15 to 8:15 pm
  • Individual therapy, in person or virtual
  • Psychiatric care and medication management by telehealth
  • Recovery mentoring
  • Family sessions when helpful

Select daytime groups also run virtually on a rotating schedule, so clients can choose virtual sessions based on that week’s groups.

Honest Fit

Is virtual right for you?

We will always tell you honestly what level of care fits.

Virtual IOP works best when you have a private space, a stable connection and are medically stable. If you need closer support, we will recommend PHP or IIP in person.

Sessions run on a HIPAA compliant video platform.
