Why Specialized Tracks

Because context changes everything

A managing partner hiding a drinking problem, a 24-year-old who cannot launch, and someone flying home from residential treatment may share a diagnosis, but they do not share a life. Generic programs treat the average patient; specialized care treats the actual one.

Each track runs on our full clinical continuum, then shapes the schedule, the group composition, family involvement, and real-world support around who you are and what is at risk.

The Programs

Specialized tracks, one standard of care

All three draw on the same licensed team, the same evidence-based therapies, and the same ASAM-guided level-of-care matching.

What is specialized care at Heights Behavioral Health?

Specialized care means treatment tracks shaped around specific life situations: our Executive & Professional Program, our Young Adult Program, and continuing care for adults stepping down from residential treatment. Each track uses the same master’s-level clinicians, evidence-based therapies, and ASAM-guided level-of-care matching, delivered in a way that fits the person’s actual life and stakes.

Who is the Executive & Professional Program for?

Executives, founders, physicians, attorneys, licensed professionals, and high-visibility Houstonians who need serious treatment for mental health, substance use, or a behavioral addiction without stepping away from a career. Evening IOP, virtual options, and absolute discretion make treatment workable around professional life.

Who is the Young Adult Program for?

Adults roughly 18 to 29 navigating anxiety, depression, substance use, trauma, or gaming and technology overuse while trying to launch into school, career, and independence. Care is peer-aware, with family involved in a way that helps without taking over.

Can you help after residential treatment?

Yes. The weeks after residential are among the most fragile in recovery, and step-down care is one of our specialties. With your consent we coordinate directly with your residential team, preserve the individualized attention you had, and continue the work at home across our levels of care.

How discreet is treatment, really?

Completely. Confidentiality is protected by law and by how we practice. Nothing is shared with an employer, a school, a licensing board, or family without your written authorization, and our evening and virtual options keep treatment invisible to a workplace.

Do you take insurance?

We are private pay and do not bill insurance directly. We provide detailed superbills you can submit to your insurer for possible out-of-network reimbursement, and we explain costs before you commit to anything.
