We had a harder time than expected finding outpatient care in Houston that gave my loved one enough support without making it impossible to keep working. Most of the programs we found were during the day or required a much bigger disruption to everyday life. Heights offered treatment three evenings a week, which made it possible for them to work during the day and still get consistent support. They needed more than a weekly therapy appointment, but stepping away for residential or daytime treatment was not realistic. Heights gave us an option that actually fit.

I have been a client of one of the Heights Behavioral Health (HBH) clinicians for more than 30 years - since my entrance into recovery - and wherever the clinician goes, I will follow. The care I have received has always been kind, compassionate, extremely thoughtful, and tailored to my specific needs and circumstances. As my children have grown up (now adults) and have realized their own personal needs for assistance in areas of their life, they, too, have been beneficiaries of the exceptional services of HBH. Of course, you get out of the experiences and treatments what you put into it... trash in, trash out. HBH has given my children and me tools for healthier and more balanced living and has literally saved our lives. The program is simple, but it's not easy. I encourage anyone and everyone who wants to learn how to live a life free of the constant horrors of mental health conditions, the powerlessness of substance use, and other debilitating disorders to contact them... NOW!

I don't usually write reviews, especially unprompted and about something this personal. Heights Behavioral is a newer practice and I wanted people to know the team has been helping families long before they opened their own doors. Our family was scared and unsure where to turn. From the first conversation with Jeff and Beckie to walking through the doors, we felt genuinely cared for. Meeting with one of the owners, who is also a therapist, felt more like sitting down with family than being sold a program. Everything was centered around my loved one as a person. We've unfortunately been through treatment before, but never like this. My loved one actually enjoys going, feels connected to the clinicians and other clients, and wants to stay. Even conversations about recommendations and cost were honest, thoughtful, and never pushy. HBH gave our family hope during one of the hardest times in our lives, and for that I'll always be grateful.

I can't say enough good things about Heights Behavioral Health. From my very first interaction, I felt welcomed, respected, and genuinely cared for. The staff took the time to listen, answer my questions, and create a treatment plan that fit my needs. The therapists were knowledgeable, compassionate, and created an environment where I felt comfortable opening up. If you or a loved one is looking for quality mental health care with a team that truly cares, I highly recommend Heights Behavioral Health.

What Happens Next

What to expect when you contact HBH

The purpose of the first conversation is to understand what is happening, answer practical questions, and determine the most appropriate next step. It is not a sales call, and there is no obligation to enroll.

01

Listen

We begin with your situation

An admissions team member learns what is prompting the inquiry, what has already been tried, and what kind of support you are considering. You can also ask about schedules, cost, privacy, and treatment options.

02

Clarify

We help determine clinical fit

If outpatient care appears appropriate, we explain the clinical assessment and the services that may be relevant. If a higher level of care is needed first, we will say so directly and help identify a more appropriate setting.

03

Coordinate

We make the next step clear

When HBH is a fit, we coordinate assessment, scheduling, pricing, and the start of care. When it is not, we provide an honest referral rather than forcing the wrong level of care.
